Pigment Clearing Laser/Photo Rejuvenation

Does your skin reflect all of the time you have spent in the sun? Are you concern about unwanted dark spots such as freckles, birthmarks or other pigmented lesions. At CML  we are proud to provide treatments for these types of problems with the use of the DYE-VL Technology. The DYE-VL Pro effectively treats Sun damaged skin, Age spot, Brown spots and any dark spot on your skin. The Pulsed Dye Laser is a device that produces a bright light that is absorbed by pigments in the skin, break them down to small particles. After few days they shed off your skin.

Sun spots, freckles, age spots, and skin hyper pigmentation occur when melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour, collects in one area. There are numerous factors that affect the colour in the skin including; UV, hormones, stress and inflammation along with general ageing of the skin.

The Harmony XL Pro Dye-VL pigment clearing laser specifically targets the excess melanin under the surface of the skin. As the melanin absorbs the energy, the pigmentation is cleared so that you’re left with an even, glowing skin tone.

The laser also boosts the skin’s natural healing process while improving collagen production with fast, long-lasting results. It only takes 3-4 sessions, approximately a month apart, to achieve flawless results.

How does the pigment clearing laser work?

Pigment clearing light-based, laser and IPL treatments remove the appearance of spots and skin hyperpigmentation by targeting the melanin in the darkened area and dispersing it. The tiny fragments of the pigment are then cleared by the lymphatic system through a natural process. This results in the clearing of all of the pigmentation layers which in turn reveals even-toned, unblemished skin.

 What does the treatment involve?

Prior to any laser treatment a consultation will need to be carried out to ensure suitability of treatment. On the day of treatment no numbing or anaesthetic is required so your laser specialist will apply a cooling gel on the area. The laser will then be moved over the skin targeting all areas.

This powerful and effective laser takes just 30 minutes, and does not either require anaesthetic or, unlike traditional ablative laser resurfacing, burn the skin’s outer layer. As a result, redness and downtime are minimized
